Revisiting Connotations of Digital Humanists: Exploratory Interviews

This ongoing study revisits the connotations of “digital humanists” and explores reasons why a researcher does or not self-identify as digital humanist. Building on semi-structured interview data collected from fourteen researchers practitioners engaging in humanities (DH) projects, this poster illustrates researchers' various understandings humanist” term research identity highlights complexity community. contributes to DH scholarship with insights into collective imaginations community one decade after early attempts. Findings also facilitate more thorough, timely, dynamic discussion major workforce humanities, potentially paving way for future labor collaboration domain.
